Back in 2003, I spent a winter season working as a Thomson Holidays rep in St. Johann in Tirol. It was one of those life-shaping experiences — long days, unbeatable views, the friendliest locals, and that unmistakable Austrian charm that stays with you forever.
I fell head over heels in love with the region.
The mountains.
